Lincoln - USH II Poster Project
Objective:
You will create a poster that illustrates one aspect of the Progressive Era. I will divide the class up so that these individual topics will all be covered. HOWEVER, you are welcome to swap topics - just let me know!
1. Suffrage movement
2. Temperance movement
3. Hull House, Chicago
4. President Roosevelt and his trust busting
5. NAACP
6. IWW / labor movement / 2 major strikes
7. Lewis Hine
8. Jacob Riis
9. Ida Wells-Barnett
10. Lincoln Stephens / Muckraker, Shame of the Cities

Requirements:
1. Each poster should have a MINIMUM of three photos or drawings about your topic.
2. A correct citation must be clearly placed under each photo or drawing.
3. Each poster should have a paragraph that summarizes the topic, and clearly states how the topic connects to the Progressive Era (1890-1913).
4. Your paragraph must be in your own writing. If you include facts, figures, etc., from a source, you must cite them.
5. Each poster should have at least ONE political cartoon about the subject. This may be difficult to find. If you cannot find an explicit cartoon, then include a general one about the Progressive Era.
